hai. my name is ramona and i like to take photos.

i live in a small beach town, that's quiet three of the four seasons. no points for guessing what season we get the terrorists... i mean, tourists. it used to be a kind of old, forgotten-ish place, the roads are bumpy, the gutters are cracked and the houses were modern ten years ago. now they've built a huge, uber-perfect "way of life" marina on our doorstep.

but hey, that's okay. the contrast is interesting.

without sounding stuck up, i'd consider myself a fairly good writer. i can write about pretty much everything but myself. so to make it easier i'll tell you ten fun facts about me (:

1. my middle name is jean
2. i don't really fit in anywhere except with my friends
3. i may be an amateur now, but when i grow up i want to be a pro freelance photographer
4. i have one dog, one budgie and seven cats
5. my favourite colours are purple and black
6. i get sad a lot ):
7. jessica is a duck. wait... that's not about me... um, i love jessica the duck
8.i would like to be "scene" though i kind of fail at it
9. i swear too much and i get very high on sugar
10. i fall in love too easily

so. hope you can feel you understand my strangness a little better now. and, whoever you are, wherever you may be... just remember that someone loves you.

It is depressing indeed.
Which is why we are going to have a competition. Go take a depressing photo, I will do the same. The aim is to be... most depressing! Gosh, how depressing.
